For years, our affinity for Podio has been undeniable. Yet, there was always a missing piece that kept us from wholeheartedly committing. When we set up Melotte Consulting’s systems, we scoured for alternatives but found none that matched Podio’s capabilities. Notion offered partial solutions; Microsoft 365 came close, but at a significant time cost; Tana was almost there, but not quite. Thus, we chose Podio: and we built our systems, encompassing CRM, shared mailbox management, project management, document management, and marketing management.
Then, we discovered Tape, and everything shifted. Finally, we found the alternative to Podio that we had sought for so long. Immediately, we delved into testing Tape, replicating some of our Podio setups. The platform proved more responsive, even excelling in low connectivity scenarios. Notably, it was quicker in crafting solutions.
Tape’s ‘low code’ platform seamlessly complements our range of services, enabling comprehensive business management and digitisation. We customise workflows and automations to precisely meet each client’s unique requirements. This transformative capability has elevated our ability to provide tailored IT solutions. With Tape, we’re not just integrating a tool, we’re integrating a powerful solution that enhances our service offerings.
Upon connecting with the Tape team, it became apparent – there was a natural synergy between our organisations. This marked the beginning of Melotte Consulting’s journey as a Tape Partner.
Today, we’ve migrated all our internal systems to Tape, and then some. Thanks to Tape’s versatile automation workflow engine, we’ve even phased out external automation tools like Make.com and Zapier from some workflows. This is attributed to Tape’s heightened proficiency in interfacing with external systems.
This transition has been more than a shift in tools. It’s been a transformation in how we operate: a leap forward in efficiency and effectiveness. The integration of Tape into our operations has been seamless, empowering us to serve our clients even more effectively.
